We test engineering and QA internship candidates and assign them a short practical task.
Not everyone is great at taking tests, so an internship mentor speaks with each intern candidate to make sure we do not miss worthy talent. Historically, while we do not have a pre-set number of participants in each iteration of the internship program, we have been admitting between 5% and 10% of all candidates.
Building expertise in 24 weeks
You are immersed in different technical areas, applying and developing your unique skills and talents. You always have access to support. It is demanding but rewarding.
Upon completion of the ten weeks of technological immersion, you are given an opportunity to make a real impact as a member of a team working on one of our live projects.
Based on a 360-style evaluation from your mentors as well as your project team lead and colleagues, we extend offers to some program graduates - usually, to between 20% and 30% of all participants.
The internship program at Prime Holding was the perfect place to expand my skills because I got the opportunity to work with beginners like myself and at the same time we had mentors who were there to answer every question we had, even the most basic ones, without judgement for not knowing basic things, which was my biggest fear in the beginning.
As an intern at Prime, I learned a lot of new things. I improved my technical skills and also learned how to work as a part of a team. The internship was so much fun, the mentors were really cool, and it was an awesome experience. So I would definitely recommend you to apply.
Three years ago, I was a programming novice, but I was fortunate enough to apply for the Prime Internship Program. What I really liked about the program was the fact that no one was holding my hand to learn new things, I was rather challenged to get out of my comfort zone and go beyond the limits that I didn't even know I had. Three years later, I have the privilege of being one of the Java mentors in the program and trying to do the same for others. So I encourage you to give us a chance to do the same for you.
